Evergreen Tree Too Much Water

Evergreen Trees and Too Much Water!

Posted : July 14, 2014

Be careful that you do not plant your new evergreen tree to low or apply too much water. These pictures provided in this article show the signs you can start to notice from newly planted evergreen trees, when they are receiving too much water or sitting in a hole that might not drain very well.

Coniferous trees like to have well drained soils and to have moist soils around them. This can be a tricky combination. As you can see from these pictures of a tree in Sandy, Utah it shows the needles start falling off towards the bottom and work it’s way up the tree. The brown color will start to show on the upper part of the tree while the lower part starts losing all it’s needles.
